Union of American Veterans™ – UOAVet™
This non-trade, non-labor union business is organized and formed as a Flexible Purpose Corporation, under California Law, which will allow the organization to pursue the economic, social, and patriotic objectives.
The Union of American Veterans was formed in 2011 and incorporated in 2012 to facilitate and manage the organized, self-sustained commitment and support of the economic, environmental, and social wellness of all US Veterans. The Union of American Veterans, FPC, a is organized under Division 1.5 of the California Corporations Code, for the benefit of the long-term and the short-term interests of this flexible purpose corporation, its shareholders, and in furtherance of the enumerated purposes included in the articles of incorporation, and described on this website.
The Union of American Veterans was founded in 2012 by Rod Nash, US Navy/US Navy Reserve.
Mission – Serve as the single, largest, most reliable, US Veteran focused, for profit union organization, dedicated to the rise and sustained respect, dignity, honor, and economic self-sufficiency of all US Veterans.
Goal – Facilitate organized, self-sustaining commitment, support, and assistance for self-funded, veteran on veteran economic, social, financial and entrepreneurship opportunities for veterans.
Continued Commitment – Re-establish the continuity of service that began with the oath of enlistment or commission of service and fidelity to military and country, and continues, post military, through this organization, as a veteran citizen.
Process – UOAVet™ engages in the development and operation of traditional and no tradition businesses to generate employment opportunities for veterans and uses the business profits to support pro veteran social economic efforts that empower all veterans and their family members. The Social platforms are for all veteran members to participate, engage, be heard, network, develop and re-establish connections, to participate in and help accomplish the following:
- Dramatically increase the number, volume, and value of US Vet owned businesses
- Increase Veteran Business opportunities and ownership
- Decrease US Vet Unemployment
- Dramatically decrease US Vet Homelessness
- Decrease US Vet Drug and Chemical Dependency
- Increase US Vet Healthcare Quality
- Support existing and establish new US Military to Veteran Citizen Transition Program
